Mission Statement

A to Zenith Arts was founded with a simple yet powerful belief: that no matter who you are, you are an artist with unlimited potential. Our passion for outreach and community arts drives us to provide a space for learners on the disability spectrum and the financially disenfranchised to develop art skills and benefit from community engagement. With a focus on Skill Development, Painting Classes, and Mixed Media Sessions, we strive to empower individuals to express themselves and explore their creativity in a supportive environment.

Founder and Vision

My name is Samir Razzak and I have been teaching art for 15 years.  I have worked  with Montgomery County Recreation for over 10 years and Montgomery County Public Schools for the last 5. My passion has always been to inspire artists to create meaningful works that enhance skills and serve as a positive outlet for emotions. I received  my Masters Degree in  Teacher Leadership and Planning  with a focus in Art Education and Fine Arts from the University of Maryland. My reason for starting this organization is to support the disenfranchised and special needs communities that I am with daily and a member of. I became disabled in 2015 after an accident and have spent the last 10 years raising awareness for spinal cord injuries and working with communities of diverse artists/ learners. My mission in life is to bring the joy of artmaking to everyone I can. My vision is for A to Zenith Arts is to have hundreds of artists receiving the support they need to create and tell their stories to the world.
